The masters of fire

20+ international chefs from Spain, Portugal and Brazil. Each with their own technique. All with one obsession: fire.

Chef cooking over fire at Holy Meat Festival

How the movement was born

Holy Meat was born in April 2025 on the Praia de Monte Gordo, in the heart of the Portuguese Algarve. What started as a celebration of fire cooking among chef friends became a cultural phenomenon that crossed borders.

In 2026, the festival crosses the border with the Iberian Tour: Monte Gordo and Cartaya (Huelva), uniting Spain and Portugal under one fire. Over 600 kg of meat, 20+ international chefs and a clear philosophy.

We are the Antichrist of Fast Food. We value cooking with charcoal and firewood as a cultural element and a form of social gathering.

Fire, community, authenticity

It is not just what we cook. It is how we live it. These are the pillars of the Holy Meat movement.

Slow Food

Slow cooking, no rush, no shortcuts. Charcoal, firewood and time. The antithesis of fast food turned into a collective celebration.

Community

Holy Meat is a collective ritual. Families, couples, friends: everyone around the fire. Everyone welcome at the table.

Sustainability

Reusable kit with every ticket. Leftover food donated to charities. Celebrate responsibly.
